"Have a break"
Maybe it was the time of the day, or maybe it was actually hitting me that this whole experience was almost over. Either way I was increasingly pensive and basically just thinking about my education and career.
Given that I had come here to study and not work, I had found myself doing a bit of it all. How could I not be grateful. I was getting the chance to teach, intern and create designs and study all in one trip. One clear thing is that I definitely want to teach/lecture graphic design all the while practising it too. Erasmus was putting it all into perspective. One thing I haven't forgotten to do is travel and explore areas in and around Spain it was almost obligatory.
With deadlines over however and the final term approaching, going back home was on my mind. Not because I wanted my time here to end but because I knew a new chapter was about to begin. Graduating seems all too real and I haven't even gone back to Coventry yet. This time though was definitely needed. I have never felt comfortable in my skills as a graphic designer, yet here I was all designing and stuff, throwing myself in the deep end was exactly what I needed. I know I've come a long way, now all I have to do is go back and show everyone that this break has made me better than ever.
