"My foggy first day"
Typical for my first day to be so gloomy I feel like it just wasn't meant be, out of my bed at this hour?! So rant over and I have to say it is definitely nice to be back in education. Who would have thought it. As I mentioned before I had some complication with my modules and timetable and subsequently had to use that time to work on other things outside of university. I aimed to utilise this time well and saw it as an opportunity to delve into things I may not have had the time to do otherwise.
Fast forward to the present day and I finally have something to sink my teeth into. My modules here are very art and architecture based. For a graphics student, it all seems a bit far fetched and unrelated but as an art and design student in general, there is definitely a way for me to make the connection and use this new knowledge to influence my own work and projects. It is only in my best interests to use my knowledge of the Avant Garde and Gehry to elevate my craft and essentially open my mind and eyes to what inspiration and influence is out there. By doing this I am not only educating myself and learning how I can create something new, but I am also finding ways in which my work can reach a wider audience and communicate better with the public.
