"Why is it so expensive"
Deadlines were fast approaching and at this stage we thought we were done, that is my teammates and I. Safe to say when you receive feedback on your work you never actually think you'll have to redo the whole project. So that may be me being a bit dramatic but what I had realised is in the world of architecture if one thing is wrong or needs to be changed, that really and truly can and did affect the rest of the project. To be fair this is also the case with graphic design but perhaps because I wasn't so used to this world of architecture it all seemed so much.
You almost forget all the stages you had completed prior to where you were at at that point. The etching we had aimed to achieve on the metacrilato or methacrylate in English, hadn't quite worked out and being the perfectionists that we were, we knew it could work but it just wasn't quite right. I had to redo all of the spray painting of the methacrylate ensuring they were dry and ready to be cut in a couple of hours; no easy feat when you don't have enough spray paint and no shop to buy it from ( siestas were in full session) and there was very limited space to dry everything. A windy day plus rain really put a spanner in the works but after some time the Spanish sun was out and I got to work. It got just a bit messy but nevertheless the job was done. Only a couple of days till the deadline...Pat on the back for me.
