"I made my own camera"
Yes you read right call me an inventor. Well not so much. Our recent photography exercise consisted of us making our very own camera, a pinhole camera. The task was to allow us to understand some of the core features and uses of many digital cameras that we use today. For someone like myself i.e someone into photography it was photography 101 at its finest. Basically it was super useful and led us to also learn how to use darkrooms, the chemicals and everything.
Not only was it useful in going back to the basics but it was always very informative. Learning photography as an art rather than just accessible technology. It was initially hard to get the right exposure but as always practice made somewhat perfect and with a couple tries I was able to get some decent negatives which we then changed to positives, the positives weren't as great but the overall lesson was learnt and I managed to produce something tangible and above average if I do say so myself.
